Most voice agent platforms bill you in pieces: one line for the model, one for the voice, one for the phone network, one for the platform. Your cost per call depends on how those pieces add up, and you only find out afterwards.
Larynth charges one rate: $0.10 per minute, all in. The phone line is included. There is no subscription and no minimum.
What a call costs
Calls are billed per started minute. A call that lasts 2 minutes and 10 seconds is billed as 3 minutes, so it costs $0.30. The same rate applies to inbound, outbound and browser calls.
What is free
- Calls shorter than 10 seconds are not billed.
- Calls flagged as spam are not billed.
- You get $5 of free credit for browser and inbound test calls, so you can hear the agent and read the summaries before you add any money.
What you pay on top
There are three things that are not in the per-minute rate, and each one is shown before you commit to it.
- A phone number costs $2 per month for a local number.
- Bridged human time costs $0.03 per minute, only while a person is bridged into the call after a transfer. The agent part of the call stays at $0.10 per minute.
- Premium voices and models are passed through at cost, on top of the rate. The price is shown live when you choose one.
Why one rate
A small business should be able to read a price and know what a month will cost. If you take 200 calls of about 3 minutes each, the agent time is 600 minutes, which is $60. You can do that sum before you sign up, and the bill will match it.
You can see every number on the pricing page, and you can start with the free credit from the sign-up page.
